Write them so someone unfamiliar with the topic can learn from them. ![]() Your notes should be readable for others, not for you. These could be from the Articles provided in KA or they could be examples you've written down when watching videos or completing problems. Jot them down and come back to them later. When going through a section, keep note of the super important parts. If you're not ready for that final test, you can go through Unit Tests or Quizzes. If you know the content well you can go straight to the Course Mastery section at the bottom of the section and it will give you questions from anywhere in the course. Your goal is to get over 90% in each course you're interested in. ![]() If you mouse-over the courses, it will show you how much of a course you have completed. Stop, go back to the videos, articles, and your own notes and re-learn the content before trying again. ![]() If you get stuff wrong, don't go over and over the same questions expecting different results. The act of writing fundamentally changes how your brain processes information. If you are putting stuff in your calculator that is not on your paper, you are not communicating properly and you are not learning efficiently. Only reach for your calculator when you really need to and only after you have written down what you will input into your calculator. Do as much calculation and algebra as you can on paper. When completing the problems, write out the problem on paper then complete your processes on the paper. Khan Academy is just a place to go to get a good set of questions. Being slow is not necessarily bad because it gives the viewer time to think. That's not his fault, that's just the way it is. Sal can be quite slow at getting to the point. When watching videos, it's ok to watch them sped up. Go through those notes you've just taken and add side-notes on the important parts. ![]() If you get stuck, unpause until you're unstuck then pause again. Perhaps pause and try to predict what he's going to talk about. If you practice math poorly using KA, you will not be prepared. If you use Khan Academy well then you will see results.
